Mofuji (モフ字)

Mofuji (モフ字) is a rounded and fluffy font design. According to the author, fub, the font has no sharp corners! But I do realize that the font is not readable if the font size used is small. Great for big headlines, but not for body text. It has Level 1 standard kanji and can be used for commercial projects. Fub also created Minamoji and Kirieji.

Hakidame (吐き溜)

Hakidame (吐き溜) is another scary looking font brought to you by the same author who created Onryou. It’s more readable than Onryou and has a mysterious feeling to it. Like Onryou, it has JIS Level 1 and 2 kanji characters! Superb!

Yuzu Pen (ゆず ペン字 N)

Yuzu Pen (ゆず ペン字 N) is a moderately constructed handwriting style font. The font strokes are loose but still readable. It comes with Level 2 kanji characters and can be used in commercial project. It comes with fixed width and proportional version. The creator of the font is Kagurazaka Yuzu (神楽坂 柚).

Ankoku Zonji (暗黒ゾン字) is the latest scary style free font series from Ankoku Koubou. The strokes of the font are thick and the spiky and uneven surface makes this font carrying the characteristics of being a horror design font. This font took the inspiration of the old time horror movie or the signage of the ghost houses.
